My 2v2, or as I would more aptly call it, my 1v2 team is a pet project born of boredom. As I was finding it difficult to get my 3v3 or 5v5 teammates together for weekly matches, let alone daily ones, Battlegrounds were losing their entertainment value.
Battlegrounds were once the shining beacon of PVP. A player would get matched up with some of the better skilled (At least in my case, and opinion) players of the game. But increasingly since the release of the Arena, battlegrounds have been plagued by retards that barely know enough about the game to reach level 70.
The only thing I enjoyed from battlegrounds post season 2, was the rush I got from 1v1 or 1v2 fights. I would guard towers in Alterac Valley, or jump the solo protector of the Farm in Arathi Basin, just to get that 1v1 fight. The honor, reputation or medal rewards did not matter, it was just a pursuit of making the game more fun than the 6v2 battles that Warsong Gultch was steering towards.
So I made a 2v2 team, aptly named 'Me vs You Two.' I would que with my Paladin on the other screen, but enter the battle only on my rogue. In the first 30 or so matches I was maintaining a 30%+ win rate on teams of the 1350-1450 rating region. I quickly learned to use the most of all of my cooldowns, being off by seconds really made the difference. Crowd control was an overbearing necessity. Line of Sight, bandaging, blinding, it was all more needed than ever. And because of my endeavors in my 1v2 team, my all around skill as a PVP player has increased dramatically.
But then PVP once again became boring. After a few days, facing the same players that sit at those ratings was losing its fulfillment. This was mostly because they were not skilled, or incredibly undergeared -hence their rating level. So in order to again spice things up, I found a program that allowed me to control a character via voice commands (perfectly legal according to the TOS). It is a burden to try and play the game with this, but it is perfect for a healbot.
So now I have the Paladin enter the arena with me. I say "Buff" - he tosses me Kings. I say "heal" - I get a Holy Light. "flash" - flash of light. "healself," "bubble," "shield," "stun" - they all do their respective duties.
Having to control my Rogue, while paying more attention to my health, my surroundings (what is going on with the Paladin incase he needs to trinket or bubble to heal me, or himself), and give voice commands all further increased my PVP skills. And it's damn fun.

Some pictures of some of the wins are at the bottom.
